My mother arrives tomorrow to spend three weeks with me in Australia. My grades are imperfect for the first time in many years. That's a fun combination right there.

I'm thinking of starting a webcomic in the same aesthetic vein as "pictures for sad children (which is to say, simply drawn because I am not an artist). We shall see.

I mentioned before that my best friend is also a member of this website. She gets into the crafts a lot -- scrapbooking, cardmaking, that kind of thing -- and she's been considering starting up a tiny business for a while now. I've just taken a look at some of her new cards, and if her old ones were fabulous, then the quality of the stuff she makes now is just incredible. She could really charge a bundle for these if she wanted to. Anyway, I have added a few images of her cards to my Favorites, so if any random passers-by look over my profile, take a gander!
